  • Commemorates the July 20, 1969 moon landing - At 10:56 P.M. ET, Apollo 11 astronaut, Neil Armstrong, stepped off the "Eagle" onto the surface of the moon and said, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
  • Obverse: Adolph A. Weinman's famous "Walking Liberty" design that first appeared on U.S. silver half dollars from 1916 to 1947. The coin has been colorized with a composition of Apollo 11 scenes and John F. Kennedy (JFK), who was president at the time
  • Reverse: Heraldic Eagle, together with the U.S. Government's guarantee that the coin contains "1 Oz. Fine Silver" and the face value of "One Dollar"
